Denis Clement LLB. LLM. BCom., Chairman

Executive Chairman and Chair of Investment Committee

Mr. Clement is a highly experienced international business executive with over 35 years of experience in finance, law, M&A, banking and management primarily in the oil and gas, mining, finance and technology industries.

 Mr. Clement has served on the Board of Directors of a number of public and private companies in various industries. Mr Clement has been actively involved in resource technology and finance businesses throughout various parts of the world. Previously, Mr. Clement practiced international and commercial law at Smith, Lyons, Torrance, Stevenson and Meyer, a Toronto based international law firm, working primarily on finance, reorganizations, banking and international trade law.

Mr. Clement was instrumental in launching the offshore oil and gas industry in Guyana. As founding President of CGX Energy Inc. Mr. Clement negotiated and co-signed the first offshore oil and gas licenses in Guyana in 1998 and has over 20 years of experience in the resource business in Guyana

John MacKenzie BSc BCom, CPA CA , CEO

Director 

John MacKenzie has over 33 years of multi-disciplinary senior international business experience, in areas such as corporate finance, operations, M&A and management and served 10 years in Public Accounting and Audit at EY.

Mr MacKenzie is currently CEO of Bronte Gold Corp a UK mining investment corporation. He has previously held numerous senior executive positions including 15 years as Founder and CEO of AllCanada Express, an international cargo air transportation company where he developed operations across North America and into South America (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Guyana), Central America and Mexico, and South East Asia. For 7 years he was COO at Ornge International and COO and VP Business Development at technology company Star Navigation. More recently he has served as CEO New Ruby Mining and Advisor to a number of junior mining, exploration and renewable power generation companies. For three years he was a Senior Business Consulting Associate at ICF International, New York on Canadian and European assignments.  His expertise is in business strategy, business development, financing and restructuring.

Larry K Bleau

Mr. Bleau is currently President, Publisher and majority shareholder of Lazarus Bleau Incorporated, a media and digital marketing services company. LBI owns various very successful consumer magazines that have both print and digital versions plus a number of branded digital products.

Larry is an accomplished executive with over 25 years’ experience in marketing, advertising and media management with proven entrepreneurial skills as owner and operator of an innovative media company. A strategic thinker and a strong leader with a reputation for achieving goals profitably and building great teams.  Larry was formerly the President of NRS Media with offices in Toronto, London, Sydney, Atlanta and Cape Town.  Larry was born in Montreal, Quebec, went to Concordia University and then moved to Toronto to begin his career in the advertising agency business.

Jason Brewster MSc Mining – COO

Mr Brewster received his MSc in mining engineering from Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall UK. For over 20 years he has been active in all facets of the mining industry from grass roots prospecting to reactivating the Aguas Tenidas mine in southern Spain out of care and maintenance and back into production.

Jason is currently also President of Anconia Resources Corp., and VP Operations and Corporate Development at OMAI Gold Mines.

Christine Lagacé, Corporate Secretary

Mrs. Lagacé is a founding partner of Isatis Capital Group.  She manages communications services, sustainable development and relations with all governmental or quasi-governmental organizations. Before founding Isatis, Mrs. Lagacé was responsible for communications and public relations at Elizabeth Boileau Communications & Strategy, a group now part of NATIONAL Public Relations, as well as at the University of Montreal Centre for the Study of East Asia. Previously Mrs. Lagacé was appointed to serve on several the Standing Youth Council of Quebec, the Senate of the University of Quebec in Montreal and the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to OECD.

Christine holds a BA in psychology Communication of UQAM, a certificate in management from HEC Montreal, training Eco-Communication and micro-program in Sustainable Development from the University of Sherbrooke. She is a member of the Order of Chartered Administrators, received the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II medal for her carrier achievement in climate finance, was the 2012 Creators of the Future contest winner and 2011 RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Awards finalist.

Elisabeth Ronacher PhD, P Geo

A Principal Partner of Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience, Elisabeth is a Consulting Geologist based in Sudbury, Ontario.

She is a geologist with a passion for ore deposits. Her formal training is in epithermal and porphyry deposits. She worked on the Porgera gold deposit, Papua New Guinea, and on the giant Hugo Dummett Cu-Au porphyry deposits at Oyu Tolgoi, Mongolia among others. During the last ten years, Elisabeth has been involved in exploration for a variety of commodities (including Au, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, PGE) and ore deposit types (including orogenic, orthomagmatic, VMS, Sedex) worldwide.

Dr. Ronacher received a PhD from the University of Alberta and was a Post- doctoral Fellow at the Colorado School of Mines.

Andrew Ramcharan PhD Geo, PEng, F AUS IMM- Technical Advisor

Dr. Ramcharan has international experience in mine project evaluation, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, mine cost estimates, 3D modeling, and financial analysis. He has worked in start-up to production projects, investment banking, consultancy and corporate development and has been involved in gold, quarries, coal, industrial minerals, base metals and precious metal mining projects.

He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, the University of Leoben, of Harvard University Continuing Education program and has lectured at University of Toronto in Mineral Resource Estimation.

Nathan Tribble, B.Sc., P. Geo.

Mr. Tribble has over 13 years of professional experience in exploration and mining, with a particular focus on gold and base metal exploration and project evaluation. His current position is Vice President Exploration at Gatling Exploration Inc. and past experience includes Senior Principal Geologist for Sprott Mining, Senior Geologist for Bonterra Resources, Jerritt Canyon Gold, Kerr Mines, Northern Gold, Lake Shore Gold and Vale Inco. He was also part of the exploration team that discovered the 8.2 million-ounce Côté Lake gold deposit for Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.

Mr. Tribble is registered as a Professional Geoscientist in Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Laurentian University.
